Membership Information

Canine Search and Recovery provides every member with a vast network of information. All areas of search dog handling from training to courtroom testimony to record keeping for income tax purposes. This is vital information that can be obtained from CSAR by its members.

One of CSAR's major purposes is to work with newcomers to search and rescue. At seminars, thru newsletters and an email list, the older and more experienced handlers are willing to answer questions and share their expertise.

Membership in CSAR is open anyone involved in search work, both volunteer and professionals.

Dues to CSAR are $25.00 annually, payable in US funds. Dues are renewed Jan 1 of each year. A lifetime membership is available for a one-time payment of $300.00

All prospective members of CSAR must obtain the signature and sponsorship of a member in good standing. They must agree to abide by the Code of Ethics. The completed application and membership dues must be submitted to the membership chairman to begin the application process. (Download Application Here)
